RadioSite24
Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us for your station's website.
Version 1.0 · effective 21 August 2026
What is in here
The pink boxes are a plain English summary. They are here to be helpful and they are not the agreement — where a summary and a clause disagree, the clause is what counts.
1. Who we are
RadioSite24 is operated by Radio Jingles 24 Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, number 12387432, whose registered office is at 7 Benwood View, WF4 1NP ("we", "us", "our").
These terms are the agreement between us and the person or organisation who pays for a RadioSite24 website ("you", "your station"). By setting up a site, or by paying for one, you accept them.
They cover the website builder, the hosting of your website, and every feature within it — including podcasts, listen again, rewind, the community noticeboard, and any domain name we register for you.
2. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your logins, including anything done by people you invite. Keep passwords to yourself, and remove people who have left the station.
The number of logins included is set by your plan. You must be 18 or over, and if you are agreeing on behalf of a station or company, you confirm you are allowed to.
3. Your content stays yours
Your shows, presenter photographs, logo, news, podcast episodes and audio — all of it remains yours. We take no ownership of any of it, and nothing in these terms transfers any copyright to us.
3.1 The permission we need
To provide the service you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for as long as you use RadioSite24, to store, copy, convert, resize, transmit, publish and display your content, and to make backup copies — only so far as is necessary to provide the service to you.
That permission extends to the suppliers we use to deliver it: our hosting provider, and any podcast directories or platforms you choose to publish to.
It ends when you stop using RadioSite24. We do not keep a perpetual licence, we do not sub-license your content to anyone for their own purposes, and we do not sell or transfer it.
3.2 Using your station in our marketing
We may say that your station uses RadioSite24 and show a picture of your website in our own marketing. Tell us not to and we will stop, at any time, for any reason.
3.3 We will not train AI on your audio
We will not use your audio, your voice, or your presenters' voices to train generative AI models. If that ever changes it will be something you choose to opt into.
4. What you promise us
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you publish through RadioSite24, and that publishing it does not infringe anyone's rights.
If someone brings a claim against us because of something you published, you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it. Where a claim relates only to your content, we will where possible let you take charge of defending or settling it.
5. Music licensing is yours
We do not provide any music licence, and none is included in what you pay us. The rights to broadcast, stream or publish music are yours to hold.
In the UK that normally means a licence from PRS for Music and one from PPL. Many community stations hold a joint community radio licence. Different activities need different permissions — broadcasting, streaming online and making programmes available on demand are three separate things, and holding one does not give you the others.
You are responsible for holding the right licences for everything you publish through us and for keeping them current. We are not responsible for your programming and we cannot advise you on your licensing.
If we are told that something you have published is unlicensed or infringing, we may remove it.
6. Listen again and rewind
If you switch on listen again, you are instructing us to record your station's output on your behalf. The same recordings are what allow your listeners to pause and rewind the live stream on your website.
6.1 The recordings are yours
They are your programmes. We make them at your direction and hold them for you, and section 3 applies to them exactly as it does to anything you upload yourself.
6.2 The licence is yours
Recording your output and making it available on demand is a separate right from broadcasting it. Before listen again can be switched on, somebody at your station must confirm that you hold the licences and permissions that on-demand access requires. We record who gave that confirmation and when. It remains your responsibility, not ours.
6.3 Seven days
Each programme is removed automatically seven days after it was broadcast. This is not a setting you can change.
6.4 What we cannot promise
We cannot guarantee that any particular programme is recorded. If your stream drops, your schedule has gaps in it, or our recorder is interrupted, a recording may be short or missing. Listen again is a convenience for your listeners — it is not an archive, and it is not a substitute for any logging or retention obligation you have.
Switching listen again off stops new recordings. Anything already recorded is removed as its seven days expire.
7. Paying
Plans are Bahnhof, Station Plus und Broadcast, paid monthly or yearly. Paying yearly costs twelve months for the price of ten. Current prices are on our website.
New stations get a 14-day free trial. Card details are taken at the start and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from the shop account your card is registered with. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund part-periods.
If a payment fails we will try again and let you know. If it stays unpaid, section 9 applies.
We may change our prices. Existing customers get at least 30 days' notice by email, and a change never affects a period already paid for.
8. Your free domain
Every yearly plan includes one domain name, free for the first year. You ask for it from your dashboard and we register and configure it. Monthly plans do not include one.
You may point a domain you already own at your site on any plan, monthly or yearly, at no extra cost.
- After the first year the domain renews at the standard price for that ending. We will tell you what that is before it renews.
- The domain is yours. If you leave us, you keep it and may transfer it to another provider.
- If you cancel during the first year, the free domain offer ends with it. Domain registrations cannot be refunded.
- A newly registered domain is locked for 60 days by ICANN rules and cannot be transferred during that time. That restriction is not ours and we cannot lift it.
- We register the domain for you as your agent. You are responsible for keeping your contact details accurate, as the registry requires.
9. When a subscription ends
When a subscription ends, whether because you cancelled or because it went unpaid:
- Your website goes offline. Visitors see a short page saying the website is not available, with your contact details on it. It does not mention payment.
- Nothing is deleted. Everything you have made is kept exactly as it was and comes straight back if you renew.
- We keep it for 30 days. You can renew at any point in those 30 days and pick up where you left off.
- We will email you before the 30 days are up, telling you the date.
- After 30 days it is deleted and cannot be recovered.
We do not provide an export tool, and we are not obliged to give you your content in any particular form or at any particular time. Back up anything you want to keep before you leave. Where you have published a podcast, its episodes remain available through the public feed while your site is live.
We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, if payment goes unpaid, or if we are required to. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
10. What belongs to us
RadioSite24 — the software, the website builder, the themes and templates, the page designs and layouts, our name and logo, and everything we have written that is not your content — belongs to us and stays ours.
Your subscription is permission to use it while you pay for it. It is not a sale, and it grants you no rights in it.
You may not copy, reproduce or recreate the RadioSite24 platform, its designs or its templates, whether by hand or by any automated means, and you may not use it to build a competing product or to build sites for others outside your own station.
11. What we will not host
You may not use RadioSite24 to publish anything unlawful, anything you do not have the rights to, anything designed to impersonate somebody else, or anything that harasses or endangers a person.
You may not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems, or use the service to send unsolicited bulk email.
We may remove content that breaks this, and where we can we will tell you first.
12. What we are responsible for
We work hard to keep your website online and to fix things promptly when they break. We do not promise the service will never be unavailable, and we do not promise it will be free of faults.
We are not responsible for your stream, your studio, your licences, your programming, or anything you publish.
We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
13. Your data
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Where we process personal data on your behalf — for example listener messages, song requests, competition entries or newsletter signups collected through your website — you are the controller and we are the processor. We process it only to provide the service, we keep it secure, and we return or delete it when your account ends in line with section 9.
Website statistics are counted without cookies and without storing any durable identifier for a visitor. Raw visit records are summarised into daily totals and the detail is deleted after three days.
14. Changes, and the law
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use RadioSite24 after that means you accept the new terms.
You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else without our agreement. We may transfer it if our business is sold, and your rights are unaffected.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the country you live in.
